Soft School has some wonderful links for the beginning learners. There are Math and Phonics activities. Personally, I would say away from the worksheet side and spend more time on the game side. If there is a fun way to do the same task why spend time on the worksheets. You can get just as much or more learning done playing a fishing game of addition or subtraction as you can doing worksheets. However, there does come a time when students need practice writing numbers quickly and correctly. Then the worksheets help. Be sure to scroll to the bottom for the phonics. Also the addition facts to practice are at the very bottom of the page.
